The Escape

A Couple weeks ago i took a Hiatus from the grid with my wife. you all know sometimes we need to simply unplug to refresh and start anew. For those of you who really know me, you know i don't really do Role Play Like that in Second Life, But i did, and i felt i should tell you about it. Your boy ventured into the world of role Play and i have to say, the experience was a memorable one.

My wife and i was gifted with an overnight stay at the amazing Batista's Getaway Resort & Spa, which included a flight to the resort on Virtual Air Airlines. The entire experience is one i would never forget and thoroughly enjoyed.

On the day of the trip we met at the Virtual Air Terminal to Check in for our Flight and was greeted by our Flight attendant, who was very polite and courteous with us. She got us through Flight check-in and onto our Private jet and we were off and on our way to blissful relaxation.

We experienced a little turbulence during landing (Sim Crossings can be rough) but we arrived safely and was onto check-in at the resort. We were greeted at the resort entrance by our concierge who took us through the check in process and informed us of the many activities we had scheduled and available (unscheduled), then we were the escorted to our room (the Moroccan themed bungalow). After settling in we had reservations at their amazing Hibachi Restaurant, where we dined on an elegant 3 course meal and was catered to by the most courteous servers and Private chef (10 Stars)

The Following day we woke to the soothing sounds of the waterfall that was outside our balcony and the melodic chirping for the birds at the resort, the we freshened up and went down to brunch, which by the way was a full buffet .... Eggs, Pancakes, Waffles, Coffee, tea, juice, chocolate ... and freshly made Lemonade, Just to name a few of the options out there. After brunch we explored the resort and indulged in some of the amenities, of which i really enjoyed the Jet-skis.

Later that afternoon we were treated to a private Yoga session, which was taught by the resort owner herself, and then a private massage at their elegant spa. I'm telling you after a rigorous workout, this man needed some skilled hands to workout the soreness of my aching muscles.

All in all, we had a great time, and for my first venture into the world of Role Play, i would have to say it was a memory i would cherish for a very long time. I would also recommend to anyone that asks, that you visit Batista's and get this all inclusive experience for yourself, I promise you wont regret it.
